Meran ni Cuill was a tree hugger before she could walk and counts them as her BFF to this day. Her earliest artworks depicted them and any furry animal (also her BFF) in crayon on the walls of her childhood home. Nowadays she works in very small scale, preferring miniatures in the size of ATCs in pretty much any medium. She finds the human form still daunting, however. Sometimes she feels she should retreat to a forest with her dogs and art supplies, leaving human civilization behind. Except for books; she couldn’t live without books!
